I was lookin through the wave maps and saw a pretty big swell commin just east of NJ. Now I'm no expert, but wouldn't a swell with that size waves stir up more than just ankle high, not worth it in winter waves? Or am i just a tard? (Please don't answer that)
Hey, if you look at the wave maps, you will see some size off the coast. But, then look at the wave direction with the white arrows. The white arrows are pointing away from the coast indicating the swell moving offshore. This is also corresponds with the strong offshore winds that you can see with the wave maps. If you haven't already take a look at the wave map video tutorial: http://www.swellinfo.com/tutorials/tutorials.html?video=wave_maps2
