A grasshopper is a sweet, mint-flavored, after-dinner drink. The name of the drink derives from its green color, which comes from crème de menthe.
Main alcohol: creme de cacao, Crème de menthe
Ingredients: 1 oz (1 part) Fresh cream en, 1 oz (1 part) Crème de menthe (green), 1 oz (1 part) Crème de cacao (white)
Preparation: Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake briskly and then strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Served: Straight up; without ice.
Drinkware: Cocktail glass

Went as a slightly out of shape, middle aged drunk. Nailed it!

Took six kids trick or treating. We had over 300 trick or treaters come to the house by our unofficial count. Kids had a blast and so did the adults at the after party.

 

We sort of went all out on the house decorations this year, hoping we would provide some entertainment to the neighborhood kids. We ended up only getting 7 trick or treaters. I have a lot of candy left.
