I have always wished to go diving, but I was told by a man I was dating that I could not dive, because I cannot pop my ears. He was a cave diving instructor, and he used to tell me wonderful stories about it; how they would break glow sticks and smear them about their wet suits. He said that it formed little beads, causing everyone to look like constellations, as all slowly moved about under the water.

Snow in the Deep South !

Friday afternoon: 90% chance of wintry mix...less than 1/2" accumulation.
Friday night: (before 4am) 100% chance of precipitation; snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible!!
Saturday: (mainly before 9am) 30% chance of snow, less than 1/2" accumulation, 30mph gusts!!

Governor has declared a State of Emergency...
19 degrees Friday night, 14 degrees Saturday night, 21 degrees Sunday night...brrrrr;
(so much for that global warming hypothesis, lol...)
but, at least, there may be fluffy, rare snow!!!

Houston, we have lift off!
The grounds are partially snow dusted, and black ice is being reported, but the real stuff is on its way.

It all began a few hours ago, and within it I saw the first snowflakes fall; one flake was approximately two inches. All is back to a wintry mix, for now, but the heavy snowfall is expected to begin within an hour. The carnage has begun, because many lack snow driving experience and failed to clear the roadways by 4pm, as requested, while most are safe at home. I hope we receive a blizzard, because one of my dogs will go completely mad for it, and I will manage some fun photos of him, as well as unexpected income...
