    Gabor Szabo - Mizrab

Rainy day here in Chiba City. Prank and I got an early morning (clean thigh high) session in spite of the showers. I think we all can agree, that is always the best way to get your day started.

Returned to the bubble, roasted a couple of steaming bhang hits and have since embarked on a sonic journey towards jazz Shambala.

Rain has picked up in strength and I've been watching the ducks on the lake out back while I tune out. They don't care and neither do I. The raindrops impact the water and send a silver spray skyward. Slight layer of foggy mist being pushed around by a gentle circular breeze. Glorious.

    Music is a true redeemer.

So when I'm driving to and from the beach I listen to the Dead. It's my thing. It's not too far of a drive on paved roads so I drive home with the tires still aired down. I just drive slow. Windows down radio blaring. Cross some bridges on the way home. One is a long sucker that peaks up high to let big boats pass. This is what was playing at the peak last night. The Sky was fantastic.

@LBCrew , dude that is good.
Blew me away that this J.J. Cale wrote after midnight and cocaine. Eric Clapton and Mark Knopfler dig his sound. You can tell when you hear them.

No problem Holmes. Our business is pleasure and business is good!

Hammond hero Graham Bond blew through the 60's white hot. Grooviest organ work to be heard this side of hell. The flame burned bright till it fell under the spells of Horse and Magick. Lets just say this, his story would make a helluva "Behind the Blow" episode.

The GBO were a formidable outfit in their own right. Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce and Dick Hexstall-Smith. That's just straight chops right there. Well worth a listen..

I'll go ahead and crowd the airwaves for a moment.

Here's one for the entire LB Crew.

I have always heard Robert Cray's guitar sound in The Howlers attack. Love this one.

disclaimer: The management would like to stress this is is in no way a statement. Just good blooze rawk. Slide on.
