Awesome show too. It was MTV 120 Minutes Tour at Hammerjacks in Baltimore. BADII, PIL (John Lydon is a NUT CASE) and LIVE. I think Blind Melon might have opened too, but we missed that.
That is really cool Carson. I like PIL a lot. Way underrated and to me, more interesting than the Sex Pistols. Other early stuff sounds heavy but different, and then they almost sounded like world music in the 80's, some stuff reminds me of the Talking Heads. All interesting, all different, and over looked too many times.
smuggled a camera into the venue to get some photographs of PIL. took it apart and put all the parts in different pockets, then put it together in the crowd. Managed to squeeze off a few but it was so dark and I had the wrong speed film in... just a big pink and white blur... LOL
So when the world started opening up we were excited about live music. We got tickets for Kings of Leon and Cold War Kids to hang with friends who also were excited about live shows but my wife and I never really listened to either band. So I've been on and off trying to get familiar with the music. Been doing so for weeks I gotta say I'm regretting the impulse buy a little bit.
Love that Run for the Roses Peajay. It'll be good to see anything live. I got tickets for JRAD on 9/4 fkn pumped.
I'd gladly take them off your hands. I've been interested in seeing KoL for a while and Cold War Kids I dig quite a bit too.
My wife is immunodeficient, so not quite ready to mingle with a crowd like that. We are both totally Jonsing for some live music though.
