    Hell yea

My folks were hard rockers so I was listening to this stuff as a young child and it sparked a life long addiction to rock. However, as with any addiction I'm left chasing the dragon deeper down the rabbit hole of hard rock, metal, and eventually brutal death metal.

EDIT: my work computer is blocking this video LOL

The sounds of the plate compactor right outside my garage/office.

And Ratatat. The more I listen to Ratatat, the more I listen to Ratatat.

Interesting band... I'm not into "electronic" music that much as a genre, but I like them. That song Cream on Chrome piqued my interest. Daft Punk is probably the only other electronic band I find consistently good.

Took my son to Phish last week. Yeah. I dig Phish. He had a blast. I mean the music is wild and phish lyrics are funny. The scene is amazing.

Anybody at a phish show can be in yo gabba gabba

I was never a diehard but had lots of friends that were, they are really good. I saw them once on Austin City Limits and Phil Lesh absolutely shredded, underrated guitar played for sure.. I liked his side project Oysterhead, with Les Claypool and Stewert Copeland a lot.
Great you go to shows with your kid, I call that quality family time.

I picked up Flea's book Acid for the Children from the library and really liked it, good summer reading. I did not know he played with FEAR before the Peppers. It was also cool reading about his role in Suburbia ( the early 80's flick by Penelope Spheris), also before the Peppers. I forgot how good this whole album was, one of their best.

Flea in the crowd... Great performance and song by D.I. but don't get the scene itself. Penelope Spheris making the punk scene look "dangerous", lol.
