I must confess. My introduction to classical music came from watching the old Warner Bros cartoons as a kid on Saturday mornings. I still enjoy both.

 

Oh boy, I fully agree with that. recently someone posted Elmer Fudd singing "Kill the Wabbit.....Kill the Waaaaaabitt!" sung to Wagnerian music (Ring of the Nieberlung). Made me laugh and spit out my coffee!!
But I come from a "white uppity" family who played a lot of LPs of Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, etc. Me mum was from Germany.

 

Mahler's Ninth is my favorite.
