My first dead show was on a pig farm in Humbolt Co. 1987. For a 17 year old Jersey kid it was a real eye opener. 50% of the crowd was totally nude. Plenty of fungus and sleeping under the redwoods. I'll never forget it. All the university schooling in the world can never prepare you for the real world. Life is Awsome!!!!!

Of all their albums--that was their worse, sorry to say. Listen to either Shhhhhh or Cricklewood Green....blow your socks off... Also Watts.......
Love that mid-late 70s Marshall Tucker. They played several times at Cal Poly San luis Obispo while I was there.
Cmon I know you got at least one good story from those days. Maybe a new thread? New story released once a week!? Make the forum great again!
Thanks, Barry. Enjoyed Cricklewood Green tonight while finishing off a six pack.
Got lots of stories from then - those I recall and those that were told to me the next day while nursing a hangover. Here's an old Pismo/Shell Beach surf vid from 79. I knew some of the folks in the vid.
