Yes! Like it man. I even like TSOL's Hit and Run album. Brings back so many memories. I toured in a band for 15 years and we used to cover Marginal Man's Shades of Reason. Great tune. SOJA...by far the best progressive Reggae band. Just met those guys a few weeks ago. Not a huge fan of newer Goo Goo Dolls, but I do like Hold me up and Superstar Carwash. Lot of those 80s punk bands started getting more melodic, which I dig.
Just by chance you crossed the diamond with the pearl you turned it on the world That's when you turned the world around (Did you feel like Jesus?)
50,000 under my Brain is a great piece of music. Starts slowly then Alvin Lee takes off with his Fender Stratocaster. Too bad he died 2 years ago. One of my favorite rock guitarist from the 60s/early 70s. A great rocker. Ten years after is no longer the band they used to be. Only remaining founding musician is Rick Lee, Alvins brother. Sad.
Just heard this for the first time this morning... the man still rocks.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfgKaSozf0I Interesting tempo. Darkness defined. Almost sounds like it’s straight out of ‘Sons of Anarchy.’ And lots better than the old Guns n Roses remake.
A few of his records from the 1970s - Orange album, Rough and Ready and maybe throw in Wired and Blow by Blow are among by all time favs. He was one of the best guitarists ever, and assembled some killer bands. I tuned out after he released Guitar Shop and Flash in the 1980s which sounded to me too much like guitar solos. - Geezer out.
Good call LB. +1 on Jeff Beck. My personal all time favorite guitarist. 'Cuda, you should check out the DVD of the live performance at Ronnie Scott's he did ~2008 .. they just released a CD of it "Performing This Week … Live At Ronnie Scott’s".
