Just started listening to them recently. Been going through Octahedron, which is supposedly their worst album, and think it's pretty solid (my taste in music is pretty tame). Will start listening to Deloused soon.

For me deloused is where it's at...I came fresh offa the 3-4 year atdi kick and lusted for this release for 2 or 3 years - had the same energy as atdi...I kinda got lost in the resort of their releases, but musically they're all solid for sure

Have you gotten your hands on antemasque yet? Good stuff

All of Omar's off shoots are pretty good too - I really liked Bosnian rainbows

 

On brief review, I'd say amputecthure is a solid #2, the widow #3, and then bedlam in Goliath...all the rest are okay, with solid songs here and there

 

Hell yeah!

 

I take so much time listening to albums, going through The Mars Volta discography is gonna take me well into 2017.
