    Although we really, really should beg for a thread lock after this, the penultimate awesome post from The Ape...

    I have to say to DosXX:
    if there's a design, it's called evolution;
    if there's a child molesting sick fukkker, go straight to the religious freaks;
    if there's wayne the insane, there's a felony.

    And now, back to The White Sea Ape.

    Wayne, Wayne, wayne , where do I begin. After some digging I've discovered a whole lot about you my dear friend or should I say foe.

    U see Wayne, I work for the Rhode Island state police, and after a good deal of investigative work , seeing how I know your name and a whole lot about you, such as your boards for tots program, your impacting the coast movement, and your name through an article about you, which you posted a few months ago. I found a pretty messy background report guy.

    A registered sexy offender in the state of Florida

    A habitual child molester

    Dead infant rapist syndrome

    Incest

    Beasteality

    Raping thy fellow brether

    Molesting elderly women

    Raping people with autism

    Masturbation with a nuse around your throat

    Fervershly masturbating in your van at chuck e Cheese

    Jerking off to images of your mother

    Telling small boys to suck you off

    Feeling ok about being a lying Mormon or whatever the fak your demon cult is called.

    * these are some of the highlighted things that came up on your background report... Very troubling stats Wayne.

    The designer was our environment. It made us what we are today through evolution.

    Now I can't tell you for sure if a designer started the whole process from big bang on, but I know that the sh1t Wayne is preaching is all baloney.

    Let's not confuse matters. When discussing evolution, one must realize what is observed in nature (I.e., peppered moths, finch beaks, etc.) is microevolution. Certainly this has been important to the study of genetics been applied to things such as designing pharmaceuticals.

    However, macroevolution, that is transition between species is still found wanting. Even the article you reference says "the transitional path between fin structural elements in fish and limbs in tetrapods remains elusive."

    So, believing evolution developed higher level life forms from lesser forms, or even created one cell organisms requires requires "faith".

    There are still many issues at large. Irreducible Complexity is another problem.

    If you want to "believe" in evolution, that's fine. Just be aware you are requiring as much "faith" as the dude who believes in God as creator/designer.

    In my humble opinion, science doesn't rule out Intelligent Design/spiritual aspects of life, just as faith should not overshadow what has been proven as scientific fact(ie/ the Evangelists that say the Earth is 5,000 years old). If anything, our scientific understanding reveals the complexity of the universe to a degree that it's hard for me to not believe there's more going on here than we'll ever realize...

    Not directed at anyone or in response to any post on this thread, just my proverbial .02. And all in all, I'm not sure if our brains are equipped to comprehend the bigger picture here.

    Dudes, check out The Cosmic Serpent, awesome read. I say we listen to the wisdom of the plants.

    Capecodcdog - you sound like a guy that could actually have an intelligent discussion about faith and evolution. Would you have a link to share from a credible, non-biased source that gives a good read about irreducible complexity?

    Evolution isn't a structure of belief. You are thinking of religion there. Evolution is a theory, something that results from scientific evidence. It doesn't require belief. It has data and research that must only be understood and accepted or rejected. As for your wild claims about no proof existing of macroevolution, I will just quote a very long article on the subject:

    "One last objection that some anti-evolutionists might raise is that the “transitional forms” that we predict do not exist. They contend this weakens, if not falsifies, the case for evolution. The response to this charge is three-fold. First, a great number of transitional forms have been discovered, and it is disingenuous of critics to keep demanding “missing links” when links are provided; it is always possible to say, “OK, you found a link between 1 and 2, namely 11/2, but what is the missing link between 1 and 11/2 ?” This reductio ad absurdum must be resisted, and creationists must be compelled to explain when they would be satisfied with the intermediate evidence. My fear is that they never will be."

    Many transitional forms have been found. These are all parts of the missing link, which is a bullsh1t name for it, as there are many links. Creationists will endlessly ignore the facts and data until we find every little link in the process. Ignoring the fact that the little links in evolution are in fact the proof of macroevolution. Ya see, in the non-imaginary world, there are not just single massive evolutionary changes. There are only small changes over millions of years. The article I posted is just one of the thousands of little links. I know you will disagree, and that is ok. Just don't confuse theory with belief.

    Science doesn't rule out a creator of the universe, but the data rules out 90% of what is in the Bible about the creation of earth and man.
