I was looking at "alternative" shapes for when it's small (Stomach and less). I was debating between an few boards, CI POD, Lost Rocket, CI Robber(Twinfiner), any Twin fin. My small wave board now is a Sharp eye SBT-S.

What do you ride when its small?

i got a 5'8'' lost rocket im 6'1'' 175 and it works in everything up to overhead. very veratile and super speedy. twin fins are lame and the pod was to heavy. the rockets got all the components for a small wave board and it can hold itself pretty damn well in 2-3 ft o/h

Depends how the wave is breaking too...

If its small and mushy i'll ride a 5'10'' RNF, set up as a twin
If its small and breaking nicely, i ride a regular shortboard with a bit fuller outline, and a little less rocker through the nose.
If its really, really, really small, i ride my 10'0" longboard

I have the perfect small wave chode machine(not really called that) but anyway..... this board is awesome. its The Chemistry Disk.. My dimmensions on it are 5'4x23x3.... weird board, but its super awesome. i just picked it up in bare wires at the begining pf the sumer,. it has 2 fcs sidebite. and a longboard finbox in the middle....(round tail) this board is so perfect, it rips pretty good, but the 23 inches and short lenght makes it really hard to do sharper turns. so you have to get used to it. AND the POD.... my friend has it in a 5'10..hes 6'2... and he loves it. i tried it although it was bigger than my average shortboard... i still loved it, iwould recomend that board too. but actually, i ride my shortboard in really small waves too

when it's small i usually surf a 0'0" x 0" x 0.4. An Ant shaped it for me. It's a pretty cool shape when the west wind beats down the surf. I was out today and ripped a couple 6 inchers.

I ride my 9'6 mostly but when its overhead or crowded I break out my 9'0 just cause its old and I dont care if it gets dinged up . Now that I have the 6'8 single fin I'll be riding that more often

ive heard lots of good things about the lost rocket, i was just concerned about its thickness (its pretty thin). Where as the pod is a thicker board.

Any experiences with the CI Robber?

Hey Edshamie, what are the dimensions on your boombastik and how tall and how much you weigh? Just wondering what others who ride this board are on. Thanks
