    Long winded, huh?

Yeah, let us celebrate people who can only formulate a few words per post. Literacy is over-rated anyways.

You know what, MIS I call BS on your claim to ride 40-50 waves. Total BS. Yeah 5x OH is friggin 50 feet.

    BS.

    BS.

I don't speak that often aboot the Pines. Do I? Nah, I don't.

    Dope is awesome.

Yeah, "riding" a handplane is cool, huh? Ah, what position is that? Yeah bodysurfing is ok but sponging is gay. That makes sense.

You Bipolar, MIS? One minute you celebrate a post of mine and then the next minute it's back to business as usual.

DUP, I have never thought aboot assigning classifications to people.

    Beginner - a freakin beginner self-explaintory

Intermediate - has wave knowledge, doesn't think aboot catching waves, rides down the line does some turns..

Advanced - can turn, throw spray, has some sense of style, bashes lips, feels comfortable in ranging conditions.

Expert - Tom Curren, MIS, Brett Barleycorn, that shady dude at your local jetty who you swear could go pro...

Sorry, MIS, that you weren't axed for your opinions which is what I imagine caused your reply just above...It's ok honey, your opinions are important too.

I totally forgot to mention that too. I hate surfing with booties on. I do it but it really changes things for me. It's like a 15% performance alteration for me!

Thanks Riley, I asked out of sincerity btw, just curious how you saw things. I wasn't sure who your comment was directed at regarding advanced level surfers. Thanks for the clarification. Didn't mean to bait MIS and you into a battle... but have at it! HAHAHA

I like some of you posts, the one about the eagles was spot on. As a whole, you are a mess

I never claimed 50 feet homes, I have been out in waves 4-5 times oh and ridden what my buddy said was a solid '10 footer, maybe bigger' at Sunset. I was undergunend. on a 9'0. .......but keep on putting words out there and claiming I said them when I didn't...... I'm sure it makes you feel good and makes you look cool and edgey. I mean, heck, you are coolest guy on swellinfo, and if you didnt make stuff up, youd have nothing.

    enjoy kook

What have I made up, MIS? be pacific and detailed.

Still awaiting to hear how I'm such a "mess."

Dude, you have no excuse, and you being the age and having the experiencing I'm definitely calling BS.

No one who is of our age and experience calls waves DOH unless it is 10-12 foot. Then multiply that by 5.

Yeah, I'm sure you are an internet surfer, and that only. Oh yeah that's right NJSURFER42 thinks he has seen you out shredding in OC. Though you live in Hawaii. Maybe.

And no, MIS, calling you on your BS doesn't make me look edgy. It makes me look authentic and honest. I appear cool because I am, except on I-95.

I'd freakin drown in 20 foot waves. I'm no big wave hero.

some people would sack up if given the chance, I have been out in days where I was above my paygrade and survived and rode some. channels do wonders.

I guess you are not the kinda guy who sacks up in the water, you need an internet forum or meet irl

and jawn 'needs to be waiting for me' what a kook, get a life loser

sounds like two guys who are unhappy with their inadequate aquatic existence

Some folks on the forum give me some love, some dont, oh well.

I have met and surfed with NJ42 about 5 years ago, I know who he is and he knows me, it really bothers you that someone is a competent surfer and they dont bow down to your sh!tbox antics

Jawn and Riley, fock off kooks
I have no desire to meet either of you, the term 'fock off' would indicate as much

but I sure will make fun of you and your sponge 'skillz', glorification of dope, and your esoteric NJ knowledge.
you are so cool and edgey bro! AWESOME!

    BINGO.

Jawn, he came on here thinking he was going to be a star. Never happened, and now it grinds at him everyday.

Like in the 2013 Swellies he won no award and was only nominated for Rookie of the Year and did not place well.

Modesty prevents me from glowing aboot my 2013 Swellie awards.

I know the dude thinks of me all of the time. I think he actually loves me. MIS should try posting pictures with captions, as that is a big hit on here. Why, I have no idea. Oh yeah I win ESM caption Contests every time I enter when it's been at least six months since my last victory.

    MIS, I'm fantastic. I'm so b!tchen.

Hey, MIS, when do you teach your classes? Aw man, you're a community college night school professor aren't you?

Hey I gave people my life story sometime ago...you know, the whole MESS.

So, if you got it so together, how come you are so secretive and protective of personal stuff, just like Spicoli...

If you guys are so wonderful how come you never discuss your b!tchen lives.

    MIS, how's your chickens doing?

    Chickens !!

question, does the fact that I'm 50 and still don't ride a longboard elevate my skill level somewhat?

So we all agree Occy is an expert surfer? He was when he was poster boy and Aussie wonderkid. Then he got fat and quit the tour. Was he still an expert? Then he got fit and became a national hero and living legend. Is he more of an expert?

Skill, experience, and fitness all play a part. Skill mostly.I knew a kid who came from Ohio, and in 3 years was killing it, 3 backside 360s on a 3 foot wave. Big Barrels at the barreling spots. He died from cocaine. So experience plays a part, but if you aren't fit and skilled, you'll never become an expert, just an old hack.

If you are skilled but not fit, nor experienced, you can be an advanced surfer with some water time, and if your a fit surfer with no skills, you can become an aggro kook.

But what about the old pros and surf legends? I don't think they lose their expert status due to declining skills, or to disabilities. Maybe they do, and become simply living legends. The majority of us need more skills and definitely more water time in quality surf, maybe a few boat trips to Macaronis would help.

MIS you NEVER make fun of me. Your insult game is weak. I say that not because we have conflict, I say it unbiased. I say it as a competent sarcastic wise-arse. Your insult game sucks.

Dude, show me a picture of you surfing anything.

Ok what's NJSURFERS first name, MIS?

Who were your boys in OC, MIS? Again I ax this of you but you can never reply.

Who were your boys in OC, MIS?

Ummm, MIS, please explain how mine or Jawn's post indicate a unhappy aquatic existence. Jawn's one of the most stoked and dedicated on here.

Yeah, I'd love how you came to that conclusion.

And you seem to mistake things. I don't want to hang-out with you and "bro-down" I want to see if you are a wise arse in real life. I want to see you sass-off to someone in person.

So, you sit on a computer half way across the world and hassle people.....

But we're losers because we call you out?

Ok, there's some real logic there.

Nothing wrong with being an old hack, as long as you're having fun and staying out of trouble!

i was thinking about this today actually. I'm advanced but just never got past a certain level of skill. I can do good cutbacks, snaps, and create lots of speed but I never advanced into aerials. Its tough being a surfer in NJ. I also am not a small guy at 190.

lets look at this whole operation
    I joined SI
I posted about my experience and my opinion, never hassled anyone
    you attacked
    I responded

I feel no need to validate my existence and life details to your despicable character

Ah, for it to be 2005 again when David Eggars was the star of wannasurf forums

and my insult game is so so, I generally make people laugh and avoid ass whippings.
Ive backpedaled from more than one punchout
    now you know
