Bernie is not against free market. That's just BS spewed out from fox news and the like. He simply points out we do not have a free market now. It is and has been structured for the benefit of the big boys. If we had a free market Bank of America would have freakin' folded in the last crash with other big players as well. If you think Trump is the least disturbing candidate you honestly scare the sh*t out of me.
Not far from my sentiments with the exception of a few. Meet the new boss same as the old boss. Money rules everything. Dan Quayle would look like a freakin' genius in this election. Damn near impossible to out clown the repubs this time around.
Bernie said the mass immigration from the middle east to Europe was due to global warming. Come on now. I like Bernie. He has great internal policy ideas and a good take on the US economy but he's no president. As a matter of fact, as an independent voter who has no allegiance to any party, I'd say the best candidate for president dropped out of the race already - Deez Nuts. http://www.theroot.com/articles/news/2015/09/meet_presidential_hopeful_deez_nutz.html One thing is for sure - we're fvcked.
Bernie is by far the most qualified person up there. And he did not cite global warming as the reason people are fleeing Syria. You can't possibly think that that was what he meant.
LISTEN UP ARSE CLOWNS... Last nights GOP debate, shame on CNN, was about fear. It was to get all the idiots riled up about the boogey man again. Your military industrial complex is still being funded, we are still developing new planes and technologies to kill people with. Last night was a show of who can pretend to be the biggest cowboy, about who can pretend the best that they don't have a micropenesia. What it should have been about was climate change and the environment, income inequality, debt, poverty, etc. Real social issues. Theres always someone out in the desert killing someone. Its only a "threat to national security" when enough idiots tune in and buy in just enough to parrot a few lines and falsify being knowledgeably concerned. Its a scam a$$hats. Here is a news flash: there is an unspoken media blackout in this country about other "developing" nations. We don't show other parts of the world as being "civilized" in the media. Have you ever seen imagery of a high rise in Iran, someone on a cell phone driving a ferarri in Sarajevo, a fancy restaurant in Somalia, a cosmopolitan city center in Colombia, etc? No. We call them "developing" nations. We have to pretend that they are not on par with the USA. Well for the most part they have the same **** we have all over the world, in many places its a lot nicer. But it creates this false sense of a greater standard of living. Take a stroll through rural America and see some of the most depraved poverty--- as bad as it gets--- in the Mojave and other rural desert towns, in upstate NY or in the rust belt, the deep rural south--- its depraved. Our urban poverty is also depraved. Our worst is easily just as bad as Moldova, just as bad as Honduras. People living in goddamn shacks, plywood windows, etc. We aren't friggin special. We are friggin cannibals. We turn on our poor and deny them like lepers with this capitalist machismo. But our nice stuff is way nicer than theirs in many cases. But guess what---- its not for you. Its for some rich tardo who wouldn't spit on you if you were on fire. I hate election years.
Christie is starting to crack me up with his stock answer at the last several debates to anyone else one stage who claims to have the edge on terrorism. "I'm the only one who (as a Federal Prosecuter) who actually has fought terrorism by prosecuting terrorists after 9-11" Memo to Chris Christie: Lawyers aren't going to keep us safe from terrorists. The more you think homeland security is a legal matter the more you don't have a clue.
I will vote for the person that takes a stand against the handicap. My pool had to spend thousands for some lift so wheelers could use it and flounder around. God I hate wheelers.
Not a person on either side is talking about the real issue that will impact every single one of us is the automation of the workforce and the massive job loss that is coming. They don't talk about it because there is no solution.
There are some issues that the government can't solve, shouldn't be trying to solve, and will just make worse if they try to solve.
Not here yet. It will be when paralegals, accountants, radiologists, any that works with data, etc.. Is jobless. They are even saying anethisiolgists are done for.
It could have been, but for now they have had a better one handed to them: Donald Trump. But seriously, if someone other than Trump is the GOP candidate I still wouldn't expect climate change to be much of a campaign issue for anyone on either ticket. The problem with climate change as a boogey man issue is not many people think it's an immediate threat to their well being, while several other issues are: jobs, national debt, the economy, terrorism, solvency of entitlement programs to name a few.
60% of the worlds population lives off of less than $2.00 a day. Yeah, developing countries are no different than ours, and our "poor" are truly destitute and will starve if they don't get their UN humanitarian aid. get real
