    I'd be tackling that thing for a jism sample. Shark jiz is rare.

    Probably herring being chased by bass. Water is cold for sharks

    66degrees here in s calacky I saw a fin comin in straight on then a roll and a side fin then was beer time for me

    Ah the treacherous dorsal to pectoral roll. Indeed, many a bortshort had been sh@t in from that maneuver. Many indeed. Glad you got out in time bud, and in one piece

    Um, ohh, I just saw panicked sardines a foot in front of me...<turned board to shore>...<gently paddling> "doobey doobey doo" with my feet bent nearly back to my head and praying a decent swell would give a push but it didn't!

    Watched a guy catch a shark fishing about 50 yards down the beach from where I was surfing, water was about 50 degrees

    It's possible.. But sharks generally don't move in to this are until later in the spring. And there's been reports of bass already.
    What kind of shark did the guy catch?

    This was in DE and it was about a 3 foot sand shark. I was actually surprised to see him catch it
