A groveler, an HP, a step-up? Not in general, I know the differences. But what do each of YOU consider those to be and what are the dims? Basically, tell us what's in your quiv for each. And the stats of your gf if you don't mind.
My HP isn't a HP at all really. A hybrid I guess? It's 5'8 x 19.75 x 2.5 with a pulled in tail, fuller nose, and low rocker. Double concave with vee. It's 29L. A true HP would be more thinned out but for me it's plenty small to boogie and the extra volume is welcomed. My step up is the same board just beefed up. 6'1 x 20 x 2.75. It's thick but the rails are foiled. And I don't actually own a grovler either. If it's small I'll LB, ride a beefy 6'3 single fin, or just ride the 5'8 since it's not really a HP and has the extra volume.
