Most of us guys learn to handle that situation by being married for a long time. Wives frequently act like that.....
Indeed. We can easily paint ourselves into a corner with little paint on the brush.. Often silence is golden. Smits, as other have stated, you made the right call.
may have been a #HavartiHater, shoulda went with Swiss...howd he tell you to sit down when your already sitting?? course coulda been undercover FBI and they had mistaken you for someone they were actively looking for
When I'm eating turkey and Havarti, I always order a large cup of hot coffee, just in case. You played it right. Open the box, you never know how it will unfold. If he attacked you, you had the awareness and skills to react properly.
Currently Im trying to complete the last 4 hours of anger management and the last 6 hours of community service. Ill be back to let you know what I might have done at that time.
“ I came to a fork in the road and chose the Swiss cheese. It has made all the difference “- sammich eater who didn’t get cocke in face while being berated.
I dunno. I'm rethinking my position on this matter. Cocque to the face has to be grounds for an ass beating. Doesn't it?
Your wife has a coque?? Interesting biological development...... And you didn't notice this BEFORE you married....??!!??
possible. I think you really could make a case that you were threatened and because you were seated you didn't have a clear avenue for retreat
I had a similar situation seated on a crowded Metro train in France. A homeless dude playing the harmonica and expecting cash posts up right next to me and starts screaming at me in French. I was on my way back to the airport and had literally cashed in all my Euros and only had large US dollars. Everybody on the train is seeing what's happening, and thinking, "what a scumbag American... won't give this poor guy some change." All I wanted to do was lay the guy out, but knew if I did that, the whole car full Parisians would jump me... and I definitely wouldn't make my flight. So... I just kept my cool, took the coque to the face, and waited it out.
not always. depends on the state. the guy was ultra aggressive and if he made physical contact you could make a case for self defense.
"Contact" during heated arguments is considered a "strike" in Courts. But you are correct--different states may have law written up differently.
