aww dude i cant wait. I guess your babe told lauren about the hanggoose at the swap meet. Def tell her thanks for the good gift idea. sssssuper stoked!
question for you guys. I'm looking for a tool box type thing to keep my extra fins, wax etc. in. I've seen it some where but cant remember who makes it or what its called. can anyone help?
My wife paying for new board but she's little ticked won't have the big present to open christmas day. It's going to be a "Fish" and won't be off the rack since she's buying.
That's really nice! While I was waiting for my board to get finished, I blew a finbox out of my small wave fish, and pretty much decided something like this will be it's replacement. I'm about 80% sure. They look like so much fun.
Thanks! I did a lot of reading (on Bob Simmons & currents shapers that are well-known for their mini-sim based designs). Nearly everyone makes substancial changes to the rails, planshape and/or foil. I decided to go with Austin because the prototype he had really looked like a shrunk down Simmons in every aspect, but the fins and I was going to go with plugs for a quad option, anyway. Belly in front, deep-slotted concave out rear, upturned rail that evenly transitions to a hard downward edge at the fins (S-deck). I was going to use it this morning, but I hit the Outer Banks, where it was chest to shoulder and I wanted to take the Nugget out.
Can you post another 2 pics, one that clearly shows the concave and another being a rail shot from the side that shows the rail transition. What is the thickness of this board throughout?
