    some recent insulation:
    1) Billabong FOIL 5/4. Got hypothermic wearing it, I could feel the water rushing in through the seams while wading out. Junk
    2) Xcel Xflex 3/2. Warm and very stretchy. Put a fin through it and they replaced an entire panel for free : )
    3) Oneill HEAT 6/5/4. Super warm and well constructed. Doesn't fit me all that well. Water pools up around my lower back
    4) Patagonia R5. Just scored this suit for $420 off the sale rack! Can't wait to try it out. Feels a little heavy and not so stretchy. I bet the new ones are lighter, but i wonder if they are as durable.
    5) Xcel DrylocK 7mil boots and gloves. Awesome here in winter RI. Can be a pain getting the gloves on and off

    Dear mr fun

Your going to be ok. Don't worry, everything will be alright. That's basically what a majority of Belmar surfers wear.
5/4 suite with 7 boots. Most guys opt for 5 mil lobster claw gloves.

See you in the Belmar lineup

Not suits. But based on my experiences during the past two winters with their shoddily constructed hoods, gloves, and boots, I'll never buy one.
