    good luck dude.

we've got a couple guys who had to take a back seat over the years due to injuries or illness. They adjusted their approach by choosing to ride alternative craft. I know I would. Just an opinion, which may not reflect yours.

Anyways, good luck and above all, "have fun".

I know we'll see it likely will be way over my head at this point, but i will charge once it looks doable. Overhead hatteras barrels are out of my league at this point i just hope i can stand up and ride a wave

Ride the wave into the shore
You don't have to look no more
    Glide away and forget your
Search for what you're lookin' for

    Droppin' in
    Cruise along
    Makin' it
    Perfect song

You don' t have to look no more
Ride the wave into the shore

So 2/3 into the drive we stop for the night round about midnight, after working all day, get some rest. 300 miles down, 150 to go. KOA bought the huge, amazing rundown hotel at the bottom of the chesapeake bay bridge and really fixed it up nice! $79 a night. Already a great trip. This place is really cool.

Not a surf trip, but leaving for the DR with my girl and her parents on Tuesday. We are saddled up in front of a beautiful reef in Bayahibe. Just got myself a fresh pair of DaFins and some snorkeling gear. Planning to spend a good bit of time just trolling the coast and living it up.

Hatteras is flat-out pumping nonstop 3 days, now. With the condition of my leg and my procedure only less than a week ago, i can't handle it, but i am trying. And failing. Getting pounded. Just thought it was calming down so i could give it another shot. Immediately saw a 3 wave outside set break way the f out and peel perfectly right from the perfect peak. Wave after wave. Shit just comes out of nowhere. All of a sudden you see the set stacking up from way out in the ocean. Yesterday was ridiculous. Offshore and out of control all day. Not one taker here all day. Least of all me. It was the most beautiful awesome sight. This place is totally amazing.

Just checked into the Sunglow Resort next to the Sunglow Pier on South Daytona Shores just up the road from Ponce Inlet. We’re staying till Monday for my B Day. Forecast not looking too hot but should be something rideable tomorrow.

Ya...I'm a teacher and a musician. Work me arse off 9 months a year. Rent the house out for the summer and it pays for the trip. Also usually take a 2 week overseas trip during the holidays. It's not for everyone but it works well for me

I can relate! I work my ass off for 7-8 months a year, with all kinds of crazy hours. Working 60-70 hour weeks, sometimes 80 and then off all Summer and most of the Spring! Got another trip to Oahu all but booked for August or possibly early September. For the third time in the last year and second time this year!

    Enjoy your trip!
