Today was a bit of a bust for me. Wind just didn't back off like I had hoped. There's waves for sure... it's just junky.
He is NOT kook....just poorly located, das all!! Alfredo, youz got to move to a more active spot or youz will have a "bad attitude". BTW, I have now surfed 5 days running--1 great day, 2 "so so", 1 somewhat crappy. But at least there has been a wave.
What kinda size you see'n up there, Barry? Been up and down here, but mostly chest to shoulder high, + or - ...
It was chest high mid week. Now it dropped to knee to thigh..crappy. But I have hope for this week at the end. If, of course, the "models" are correct. We need a big swell, a storm actually, to rearrange our sand bars--they have really been dismal this year. Most of the points have had little to no surf as swell was inadequate. Hope you get a nice swell this week!!
this has been the most absolute epic forecast with the worse possible conditions lol.im seeing 18ft Saturday am,i cant remember the last time I saw an 18ft swell with 43mph onshores lol I gotta see this in person
went to the beach yesterday, not to surf just to watch since it since it said 8ft,new it wasn't surfable as its been all week.but pretty impressive, been a while since I went to the beach on one of those victory at sea days.nobody surfed or even dared lol.its allways soothing being there
Fun stuff around here. Nothing spectacular in terms of size (waist to chest) but the conditions for the most part have been spectacular. Yesterday dawn = waist to chest, glass, 10 sec per Today dawn-8 am same but thigh to stomach (then the cross-shores kicked in) In these conditions I've had some of the best rides in a looooonnnnngg time Also the weather has been amazing while yous down in the mid Atlantic get slammed Counting on the late week forecast getting corrected, and conditions like today persisting (noaa, and local weather persons not putting any stock for this area in what has been forecasted here, msw, Surfline, or weather.com...and they are right more often than these other listed places are wrong)
