Go fish just caught a few striped bass this evening , one was a keeper but had some sores. I also fixed the cracks in my epoxy boards and have taken up Yoga classes. How about you what gives when the waves suck? It's bad in dirty jersey flattest I've seen it in a while.
I go out with my longboard no matter what, but I only been surfing less than two years. Paddling around trash talking with my girls, hoping for even a one foot wave beats doing anything else.
Play my guitar, play with my pigeons (yes I fly pigeons), go to the gym and am considering starting Taekwondo. My son does it and it looks like an incredible core workout.
I have too many hobbies. When it's flat, I play guitar, run, fish, work on the car, brew beer, or just chill at the pub and sip on some brews.
Kite! Can usually get about 2-3 days a week on the water. Then when we do get waves it will be windy the first day and clean up the morning after. Turns 1ft and blown out mush into fun little sections!
Fish (not much luck lately), ride my Carver, wrench on the Land Bruiser (front axle, hubs, bearings, knuckles, birfields, drag links, tie rod ends and new bushing rebuild on the front end coming very, very soon), and build stuff.
head west and go snowboarding, or downhill mt biking. practice kenpo. head to range to keep the shooting skills honed.
ecoastprock... THAT'S where its at, brother! I'd kitesurf over surf pretty much any day except perfect barrels or pure glass, if I had the chance.
When is the East Coast ever flat? Bar hopping around the island, sailing or burning some rubber on Dow Road. Of course there is always paperwork to do...
Oh yeah... full tranny flush, brake fluid replacement, replace fuel pulse dampener, replace fuel pressure regulator, clean throttle body, adjust throttle position sensor, replace some hoses. Uggggh.... Wait, sorry folks, thought I was on Ih8mud.com there for a sec. Rouen: what you sailing?
anybody have proven and tested plans for a 3' mini ramp? DIYskate.com looks good just looking for some br0 input...peace
