Everybody here on the east coast knows its been a flat august, but i recently had family up here on the vineyard and we had some head high peaks the one day we went to the beach, we havent had head high sets for like 2 weeks. and im having people up this weekend and its forecasting big sets. Maybe everyone should have family visit and the flat spell will end?
My dad grew up on the vineyard And my aunt and uncle live there now. They don't surf and they don't know anything about the good spots. They say its all hush hush. I don't blame the locals for being that way. I'm just sayin I'll be there in October and I'd really like to find some clean head high peaks !
Yeah, some good spots are aquinnah beach (moshup) and squibnocket beach. They crest the best as it has more of a gradual bottom that doesn't drop off like some beaches. It is really beautiful and the water doesnt get too chilly until about November. Anyways if your moving up here you'll definetly like it! I've only been here since February but i'm permanently living here because i found work for my handyman business.
Handyman business. If you hear of Taylor woodworking in Edgar town that's my Uncle Tom. He's a savage. Holds fishing records for the vineyard and stuff. I worked on the vineyard this past spring with my cousin in law amen solway. He's a contractor there. Maybe we crossed paths!
