where is this swell? 6/28 NJ

Losttsol, are you gonna try VB tomorrow despite the thunderstorm forecast? It's like an hour drive for me

At 5:40 AM it was rainy and very little surf. There were/are 6-7 out off 1st St.

 

Turned out to be not a bad morning in VB after all. Waves were nothing all that much - 2 foot with occasional 3 footers - but it was nice being on the water. Caught a few rides. Semi-glassy, quite a few dolphin, water temp about 70, some sun until a line of thunderstorms made their way out to sea south of VB. Heard the thunder, saw the lightning. Croatan was filling up by 7:30. I ended up going to Dam Neck.
