where should i go this winter

Grew up in FL and have never caught on of them. Had a small tarpon on one time, but got off.

 

Portugal is probably closer than Hawaii and a straight shot from Boston. Cheaper than Hawaii too, I would suspect and the south coast of Spain is an option if the surf in Portugal is too big. I did that a couple of times and I think it was only about a 3 hour drive from Cadiz to the Portugal coast.

I was actually in Rota for about 3 months altogether and worked that whole stretch down to the strait of Gibraltar. Portugal was too big the day I drove out there but I don't remember being all that hard of a drive from that area.

Spain was the first time I saw a topless beach. That was pretty awesome.
