    Head South...

Usually Central Florida (New Smyrna, Cocoa Beach, Sebastian, Indiatlantic) gets better waves, but Fri/Sat SoFlo is actually going to have something better. High pressure sitting over the Bahamas is kicking some wind our way, but I hardly think stomach high wind chop is worth coming all the way down from South Carolina for. Ive driven just as far for about the same, though so I can understand! Ha!

Well bud, you aren't comin to much better...NC would be best bet. But if ur movin here east central florida is the best bet. Crist started from New Smryna (south side of jetties) and went south, which is all good, but on the north side you have Ponce Inlet then Sunglow pier in S. Daytona then skip up to Flagler. Flagler goes off like Melbourne and Sebastian. It has a pier there as well. Very little crowd also.

Mad Irish is right, all though spots are good (espec Flagler Pier- one of my NoFlo favs) right now with Lake Atlantic looming large, were looking continent jumping to find surf.

    2nd Light

I always surf 2nd light. It is past Cocoa Beach near Satelite Beach across from Patricks Air Force Base. Of course the best place to surf on the east coast of Florida is the undeniable; Sebastions Inlet. It kicks here. And is surfable when it is flat everywhere else.

    Gotta disagree wit ya there...

Was 3 foot in Cocoa Beach yesterday and ankle biters in Sebass... 2nd light is the wave magnet. Ill give you Sebastian gets good more often than other places, but there are a few spots that shall remain unnamed that do, actually get decent surf on a more regular basis than SI... but everybody go over to Sebas Inlet and let me bounce around a few places without the fear of waiting in line only to get cut off anyway.
