There's been some threads on music we love and what we listen to to amp pre-session. Let's talk about music we HATE. Not stuff you hear that might not be your cup of tea but could still respect, stuff that drives you up a wall. My buddies and I have this conversation frequently and it gets fun. Here are a few of mine: Anything by Linkin Park, Mumford and sons, U2, Greenday(so not punk), Coldplay, and many more...how bout you guys?

The music industry is in the sh*tter right now, I hate just about anything that has come out in the last 5 years, there are a few exceptions but for the most part nothing really worth listening to these days. I have hundreds of CD's and a Sirius / XM Satellite to avoid anything on the regular radio.

    Nickelback should DIAF.
Any teen pop star who can't write their own songs is due for a kick in the face.
Gwen Stefani should do a porno, and then abruptly end herself.
Justin Bieber, well, I am not sure what to say about him. Maybe send him to the general population in a prison full of sex offenders.

Other than that, I can appreciate any good musician.

Same here. I also like checking out local musicians. They are harder working and more talented than most of what you find on the top 100 today. Too bad that talent will never land them on the charts. You have to sell out and sound like everyone else to make the skrilla.

Anything Green Day BEFORE Dookie was good IMO.

I fully endorse this statement, including the Gwen Stefani bit. And agreed on the local music stuff. Come on, anyone else?

**I'm ok with pre-Dookie Green Day.

Nickel back is the absolute worst...I went to a show they were playing, but only because Alice in chains was opening( which I thought was ridiculous), but I ended up meeting AIC's new front man at the bar and the rest of the show I walked around yelling Nickelback sucks!

U2 blows serious donkey d!ck...I mean, really, any band member who feels the need to call himself the edge is a real douche.

I know some of you are going to think I'm crazy, but the Clash makes me want to upchuck...god damn they suck...
Now onto the easy ones, all the pop sh!t is the most horrendous crap ever, you know it's always the good people who end up od'ing on heroin or dying in a plane crash.
    I don't think I'd be sad if beiber's plane took a nosedive.

P/ssy country is the worst, now you put on some Hank Jr. Or Charlie Daniels and I'm hootin'

And finally rap, don't get me wrong here, I've been down in the hood G since "Raising Hell", before that all I listened to was Iron Maiden. But really, 90% of rap and hip-hop blows such huge donkey balls that I'd have to say it's giving baboons reach arounds. The other 10% is some magical stuff.

sick of mumford and sons, and all of the sound-a-likes.

If I hear "someone that I used to know" ever again I might go homicidal.

I hope something really horrible happens to both Drake and Nikki Manaj. Hopefully together, 2 birds 1 stone type thing.

Let's see, Maclamore... he thought he was gay in 2nd grade, I still do. (disclaimer: 90's gay, not 2013 gay).

My 757 people will appreciate this one, f*cking Original Mattress Factory commercials. Ron Trazenski and his equally awful wife. Usually they aren't even talking about mattresses, it's politics or patriotic or something. I get douche chills the whole time. At least they don't play the "Step in Time" Jingle on the radio any more. Terrible.

Me and my American teammates instituted a strict rule in the locker room a couple years ago: NO NICKELBACK! The Canadians on our team couldn't get enough of it though and would always try to put it on. Then again, they'd be the ones fully lathered in soap standing there carrying on a conversation with you naked but as if they had a three piece suit on so you have to excuse most of their behavior. They are good brahs. Just a bit strange from the socialism and two dollar coinage.

Can't say I adore the Clash but they fathered some serious offspring in and out of their genre.

I like most country. A lot. But there is a handful that the posers sweat and it's commercial trash. Can't beat Texas country like Pat Green and the ones you named are awesome.

What hip-hop blows your doors off?

That God Dam* Will-I-Am and Brittney song makes me want to kill people... Thanks for reminding me..
Oh and all those damn 80's song you can hear 100 times a day on the radio, like ac/dc, guns n' roses etc. some are tolerable, but seriously, do we need to have 10 classic rock stations playing the same stuff all day? I hate the radio at work so much I don't listen to anything on the way home

Great point...they'll rotate panama, runnin' w/ the devil, love in the elevator, janies got a gun, welcome to the jungle(and plenty more, you get the point) while neglecting anything good that came out of that period.

The dudes in the band are kind of douches, but U2 has some good tunes. You guys know that.

I never understood why The Clash was so influential. The Sex Pistols suck, too.

I don't know......I kind of get the feeling some are picking on easy targets but secretly are singing Nickleback hits in the shower.......I don't know. Could be........just maybe........OMG I can hear one of you singing that "photograph" song by them.....about their rough wild upbringing on the wild Canadian streets......

Practically everything produced after 2000 sucks. Yeah, Lee, I want Nicky Manaj and Drake offed myself. Man, can you believe a nice, Canadian, Jewish boy, who played a paralyzed dude on Degrassi The Next Generation is now an American rap thug ??? Jesus, all the F the Police rappers from the 80's & 90's now play the police on TV shows or do Disney Movies ??????

I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE Kanye West. I'm almost thinking of becoming a paparazzi just to get him to attack me. God, fame and fortune can make some people real arsejacks

But it all doesn't matter everyone knows that Led Zeppelin was the greatest band ever. It all kind of sucks from there.....
