My pappy in Alabammy called (WAY TOO) early this morning and asked if I got my STAR ID,which stands for Secure, Trusted and Reliable Identification. Said it would be a requirement to board airlines without a passport. The only info that comes up is Ala news and gov sites.
That seems to be the only info on the internets. this site says 21 other states are implementing it. couldn't find anything else. I always carry my passport when flying or going on base.
