My good friend in Jacksonville sent me pictures today, looked better than anything I've been in for I don't remember how long.

Although I'm sure we've had a couple days that rivaled it in Jersey this fall so far, I've just been unable to get out due to work. Last Sunday was pretty damn nice though, can't complain much after that day. Hoping for something similar this Sunday.

Agree...4-6 p.m. was a blast! I'm so stoked on this swell...it just keeps giving and giving. why not tomorrow morning. From around 6, after getting out after a fun two hour sesh in OCMD. warm air, warm water, rippable surf:

Got out yesterday off Dam Neck before and after work. Yesterday's morning sesh was the best this week: 2-3 ft and semi-glassy. Hardly any breeze. Surprised no one else was out. Maybe because Surflline played it up as "poor".
    Very windy this morning.

Forecast undercalled the swell. Some head high to slightly overhead bombs, and clean/offshore from dusk til dawn, which happens once in a blue moon.

The only complaint I had was that Friday was also "teacher planning day" so all public schools had the day off and it got way too crowded

Sounds like this swell hit up the whole coast. It was pumping today in New Hammy, offshore, good stuff.

Howling offshores tonight, not sure what will be left for the morn.

Dang, that's great that you guys scored. Props to Mitchell for his usual excellent pics. Couldn't get away & the thought of hiding behind concrete towers to get over the edge, eh, not so much; butt it sounds like wind was not a factor for y'all.

I surfed this morning. Big Whoopee.
Wind was strong but a strong swell was making it through. A few head high sets, but most were waist to chest.
I ripped, as usual.........photogs were all over me as I got out of the water; chicks were adulating. My fans were throwing flowers, and chocolates for me. Normal day for me......
    Uh huh....right.

Had one of the best sessions I've ever had at my local yesterday, about as good as it gets there. Not big, head high with some plus sets, but *perfect* lines coming through. I surfed until I literally couldn't push myself up on my board anymore, then walked home, refueled, then went out for an afternoon session.

I don't think I've ever surfed this much in October, making up for our abysmal summer.
