Always hit Del Mar, close proximity to where we stay & crowds aren't bad, and then sometimes a 'hiking' place up north past Pendleton, with props & humble thanks to my paisano ZaGaffer.

This was a quick hit, stealth run, weeks ago to your ol' shreddin' grounds. You know the deal: great longboard wave, peakier as the tide runs & then the short board dudes take a slap at it, but always just great stuff.

Back to our regularly scheduled program-- wow, you've been traveling to some great places. Is it work related, or all vacation. And, importantly, how was it?

 

Fun sneaker swell today. Definitely bigger when I got to beach. Chest high with some bigger ones every now and then. Light wind and nice air temps. Mushy and fat with the high tide and then got more punch as the tide dropped. Good day to bring groveler for the high tide and daily driver for the lower tide.

Had fun but definitely had kooky moments. I need to get back in shape and get more volume in my boards. Just hoping our baby sleeps more than a 3 hour stretch. Then, I can get back in the game.
