Went out after work yesterday - SI said 2-3... Cam frozen all day ( maybe less but I gave up after a few times ) High tide didn't help, as soon as you get up - fins hit sand. Paddled around, went home. Had pizza with Pinot noir... Decided to get a little high... Did. Went to sleep. Slept through the usual 3am hungry cats alarm. They should be dieting anyway. Especially the orange tiger shark. Today is another day.
One more homo erotic fantasy from SPANKEE... aaaaahahahahaha!!!! I would swear your a preteen, braceface, little turd the way you come back at me. Gay it up bud , gay it up!!!! homo...
the thing I love most about the winter, besides the waves,is the beaches turn into a ghost town.im not a people person.I hate being in large crowds, just doesn't feel safe, thanks Obama.im good with 30-40 people(on the sand, not in the water).but some of these towns, walking to the water through the sand is like walking through Woodstock or something, people everywhere.i always seem to run into confrontations with drunk people on the beach.I say something, and they respond im going to break ur fukin nose lol.I was at the beach a while ago and there was some hot chick standing infront of the water and im sitting down trying to look at the waves and the girls man thought I was checking out her rear.i do on occasion, but damn I just wanted to see how the surf was.
Clean little waist high peelers with offshore winds on the incoming this afternoon... good fun on the log. Water's gotta be 80.
I'm not too fond of crowds myself... I always try to surf the empty spots... Or super early on the dawn patrol. Some choppy fun ones tonight before dark! Last night was really fun before the high tide set in...
Yeah, I saw that bump too but discounted it since I'll be in the keys on Monday. I might have to reconsider and make it a foure day weekend in order to maintain my sanity. Maybe I'll see you there. We'll see how the fourecaste goes in the next few days.
so whats the best time/tide to catch these 2 footers the forecast keeps talking about?i don't get to check the cams all day, just when I get home and I check everything from deal to seaside and everything in between and its just dumping on the beach.usually il try to catch the incoming tide.sometimes the forecast says 2 ft and its actually good, and others like today its just shorebreak.not too smart when it comes to predicting best times for small waves. if it wasn't summer id just drive down and check it out,but too much traffic to go and turn around.when that happens I just go for a quick swim, because I hate seeing the water and not going in,even when its flat.got to get wet lol.the deal cam just showed an empty beach with perfect little waves, then I noticed the cam said "off air" lol I knew it was too good to be true, there was 2 people out
a lot of spots around here only work at mid or low tide. typically incoming mid tide feels like it has more push, receding mid tide hollows out a little quicker. high tide around here basically means not enough energy to bump up and form given the same lets say 2ft, so it only jacks up when its time to hit sand. chances are jersey is similar to this. got burned like that two days ago, could only come out after work - peak of high tide @ 1-2=NOT working at all.
Very nice BTW, what are those ridges on the surface of the water? Waves? That phenomena is not a summer occurrence here.
This has been the longest flat spell I can remember. I swear I'm gonna cut somebody if I don't get some kinda surf sooooon.
