Been awhile since posting a sesh. Been pretty busy. Got out this AM and man, it was just one of those feel good summer morning sessions.

Got to the beach before first light, saw a small wave and grabbed the mini. Thigh high with the sets pushing waist but not quite. Low tide and a breath of offshore wind. First sesh without boots or gloves, only 3/2 and it was nice. Thought I'd be slightly chilly but was wrong.

Waves were fun. The rights seemed less racey. Most waves were a take off, pump, cutback. Depending on the wave depended on how many cutbacks you could fit in. Love the mini sims for those waves because it really holds its speed and allows you to keep linking cutbacks on seemingly weak waves. I did get one that was a bit diffrent. Took off, pump, the wave had more wall then others do i was able to fit in a little snap, then cutback. Got some lefts too but they were all pulling into mini non exsistent "barrels".

Had a blast. Got about 2 hours in before the wind kicked up in an instant. Crowd was extremely light. Surfed a peak i havnt surfed in a few years. Beautiful morning

Sounds like ya'll have packed in some fun sessions lately. I got out a few days last week.

Thursday evening was gorgeous. The water color was a beautiful green/ blue and it was just super glassy little fun ones in the thigh to stomach hi range. A little fog, but the sun kept poking through. I was stoked to be out there and to take it all in. The ocean is a majestic place. I brought the setup and managed to grab some clips of two guys trading waves. Made another little edit. Check it out.

Yyeww, Gulf teets were abound today. Winds finally calmed and the second sandbar turned on in a big way. Lots of current but the waves had a lot of juice in them. Been a while since we’ve had that size sets rolling in. Lots of fun drops and a few rides to the inside. Only stuck a few of those just to avoid the paddle back out. Nice 4 hr sesh in June. Taking the boys fishing this evening, life is goode

Got another sesh in yesterday AM. Wasn't great but it was fun. Waist high, low tide and a bit dumpy. Winds were light offshore for a brief minute but quickly switched to cross shore. It didn't kill it though. Caught a couple fun ones. Can't complain

noticed smooth lines Saturday morning. tho it wasn't breaking at the pier, it was close to it and figured with a hi tide at 1pm that day that the washout would cut something up. took out the indestructible 7'6 NSP "log" because of what i thought was close shore break waves. logged in (pun i know) 2 hours with bout 15-20 waves under my belt. Saw buncha ppl with boards driving in that direction on the preemptive run to loosen up some weight, and took to it past the crowd at the washout. small drift up north, so i walked it back 4 or 5 times to get the best section i could without getting crowded. twas a fun sess and only the 2nd in the 5 weeks of flatness we've been receiving down here in the low SC coast. no memorable rides, some to shore, but anything rideable now is a blessing

    What's Happening?
Any day of surf is a good day dudes. Thanks for the posts.
Got some big wind slop at Bassmons this morning all to me lonesome. Windy and drifty, paddling into the wind and getting sprayed in the mug. I took out the thruster and dropped into a bunch with mixed results. Strikes and gutters and what have yous.

Still have my gear in the vehicle for the possible arvo sesh. Dreading the dank stank wetty stink being cooked up.

Got the new 5'10" twin out in some 2-3' yesterday...stoked on it! It usually takes me a couple of sessions to figure out a new board but after the first hour or so it started to click and I got some really fun waves. Did what felt like my best backhand roundhouse, like 10 feet out in the face wrapped around back into the section and back down the line.

Perfect conditions today. Super glassy, way less current, and similar size but cleaner sets then yesterday. More guys out today (7) but its a good group and plenty of waves and peaks to around. Knew it was going to be good when you pull up and the flags show a light off-shore. Arms, shoulders, and back are feeling it but 7.5 hrs the last two days have mind set right.

Some chunky ones yesterday... light onshore wind, so it was all over the place, but some fun head high peaks.

Last evening was ok to fun on Delmarva. surfed a couple hours in waves that looked really fun from the beach, but felt like my surfing was off. one of those days i guess. Any more i feel like if i start getting cold, i just don't make the effort on a wave. few pics from around 6 p.m.

Not a bad way to roll into mid-June! Fun swell last few days. Saw all kinds of conditions. Fun Spring. Would love to see us squeeze another swell out of this pattern before the doldrums settle in...just one more!

We got surf today and tomorrow, but it's generally been crap on this portion of the continent.

Still nursing an arm injury, trying to stay patient until the time is right.
