Imagine the left at Kelly Slater's wave pool except freezing cold and a hard offshore wind from 10am to dark, just as long, a little faster, more teeth to it and free admission. So many pictures I crashed my computer last night. A couple of samples.

It was a total shit show mob scene with really the same half dozen guys being the only ones making the better waves. You needed to be a really quick goofy foot.

It really doesn't get any better than this in South Jersey. Still have a ton of shots to edit from last Sunday.

Yes. Caught two great swells back to back. Took a lot of beatings and did a lot of paddling but got some good ones. My son was killing it.

 

You caught the few waves that La Nina produced , congrats.

Only photo of me in years, Christmas Eve morning at Ocean Reef, Singer Island. My buddy took the photo, his kid is now 20, came home from FSU for vacation. A few days earlier he talked me into paddling out a secret spot, OH waves and all the hotshots out. I got one good wave and headed up the beach to a mellower break. Got it three feet OH a couple weeks ago, good swell on the horizon. Glad to see some of you old timers are still alive and scoring. Life is goode!

 

I haven't gotten wet for a while. I have been having issues since the fall, found out in January that it was gluton that had been getting me sick,celiac disease, it got bad then I ignored the diet restrictions until it got really bad. I've been on the mend, no more beer, bread, pasta, ect... All packaged goods must be scrutinized. Hopefully I'll be back in the water in a week or two.
