fun overhead drainers here in New England this morning if you knew where to look. I was counting on the beach and a few guys were deep in the barrel for 5 seconds or more.

Some of the more classic points around here delivered for the afternoon too. November has been really fun for the east coast!

 

yep...pretty sweet, tho i was only on it for an hour because of work...heading out after work today for some fun leftovers.

 

Same here--yesterday AM was really nice; had one of the points all to myself-- a secret spot with a major road going by it. lol Nobody out--just me--I was soooo NOT lonely!!!

Interesting that the points are bigger then The Wall? Usually the points are smaller than the wave magnet beachbreaks such as The Wall. Usually the points don't really come alive until it gets a bit solid. But these days strange things happen.

Anyways, he wrote a solid piece in EAST COAST SURFER(an attachment to SURFER back in the day. Like, Lisa Roselli and shoot) aboot that storied 13-mile stretch of coastline. I dig the place. It's, like, the Santa Cruz of the east, whereas if I could wipe-out 90% of the surf population I'd move there. I like point breaks and scenery, Barry.

Surfed LBI Sunday just for the heck of it. Stayed local yesterday... chest high on set... and cold cold cold. Windy and cold and long waits for the good ones.

 

My island is sick rite now. Pics and report wen I get back in the statez.

 

Yeah, NH is okay. And there are a lot of angry types up here. In fact if NH had a personality type, that would be it. I just pretend to be one. I have no idea who Sid Afuzzi is, and frankly, don't care either. I mostly surf by myself, don't need to be seen (prefer not to be). Thats the problem nowadays with surfing anyway.
But waves are very very overrated here. Why others come here when Cape Cod, which does get much much better surf, is just down the road a bit, baffles me. And Rhode Island--much better breaks, points, wave size....and everyone comes here?? Then there is jetblu which can take a surfer anywhere to surf to ones heart content!! I surf NH because I am lazy.
