Post what you do and how you can fit surfing into that.

Weekends, unless it's epic, then I will take a day off. With it getting dark at 4:30 now, it's not worth it to go after work for 10 minutes.

Chef Private Club. Make the schedule so I get in when it's good and have winters off so I go to PR :) Had a summer off a few years ago when I worked for Princeton U that was awesome! Keep surfing!

I got a trophy because Bubs liked one of my posts! Thanks Bubs. I work two jobs. I am a supervisor at an underground line installation company and I work on a loading dock for a trucking company. I can take off whenever I want to surf. I make up the work when it's flat.

senior account executive at ad agency/commercial printer.
I've put my time in over the last 8 years. I can almost 100% work remotely, but tend not to (pisses off the artist & programers, who can't).

If the waves are good I come in late. I almost always leave early.

I work from home Monday - Friday 8:30-5:30, no nights or weekends, paid holidays, full benefits. I am able to surf every day there are waves if I choose. Sometimes I miss a session during work hours but if it’s epic I alter my schedule and get out there. I hit DP and sunset sessions regularly. Extended lunch breaks when needed. I might as well live right on the water but we are 15 minutes inland to get more house for our dollar and a buffer during hurricane season.

Commercial HVAC/R. I can get dawn or dusk seshs most of the year except winter. I got plenty PTO so sick days to surf are a possibility although i save those for REALLY good days. Winter is a bit tough, dawn isn't possible. But if it looks good i can start early, leave early, and get a quick dusk sesh in. Then weekend's ofcourse. I do work on call for a week straight once a month. Those weeks ill pass on dusk seshs but on the weekend ill still go. If any calls come in they can wait. The goal is to start up my own company, making moves and creating a bit of a customer base with side work. We will see how that pans out. If i can get in with a company that offers a pension..... I'm taking that. Keeping the options open
