    Quit surfing. Took up Prancercise...

Actually, it's been two weeks and too long since last in the water. Accident last week and totaled vehicle loused things up a bit.

I've been out of town on business for over a week haha. This is a regular occurrence for me this time of year.

I got up earlier today and checked out the cams and forecast around 2:00 or 2:30 PM. Nothing going on, so I went back to sleep for a couple more hours.

Now of course, tomorrow looks pretty frickin awesome, yet it's back to work for me!

Hadn't been much going on here. But like NYNJ said, tomorrow through Sunday is looking good. Might not get out tomorrow, unless i use a sick day...which i very well may do. This week of work had sucked so i was considering using a sick day regardless of waves. Saturday and Sunday I'll definitely be on it.

Right on. You're always on it if it's out there for the taking. Hope you get some!

Today would be the 1st day in the last week that I haven't surfed. It's maybe knee high out, decided to skip it. Should come back up soon though.

Hopefully. Need a change in scenery. If there's no swell down here Saturday, upcoast I go!

Absolutely! I have always loved the vibe up there ( except the Inlet ). So many cool spots, and lots of old soul surfers and young shredders. It's not hard to find your own peak, or have it shared with three or four stoked bros up there. Down here it can be a zoo. Been surfing my local spot lately, it's been packed with very good surfers, but being old also means being wiley like a coyote. I still get a few. But it would be sweet to paddle out to a nice A frame with less than 9 guys on it.

Exactly. I only hit the Inlet if the SE winds are killing it up here and I haven't surfed in a few days and i'm just desperate lol Other than that, you know where to find me for the most part. Don't worry, i'm not as much of a d*ck as I come off as on here lol I'm no ripper either, so don't worry, you'll catch plenty of waves around me too

Haven't surfed since early December in Barbados. Came back to a dog freshly sick with cancer... too depressed to do anything. Since he passed early January, trying to get caught up on work. I'm getting close to being ready again, but there is nothing on the horizon in SENC. Perhaps a tropical get away is needed...

Very sorry to hear of your loss. My dog isn't doing so well these days either, almost completely blind, dealing vestibular disease, and just not the same dog he was even 6 months ago. I feel so bad for him, nothing I can really do but love him until he's gone....

Thanks... he was awesome, but only 4 years old... way too young. I hope the best for your buddy...

Damn man, that is too young and that's very hard to deal with I imagine, mine is 15 and counting, got him when he was 12 weeks old, he's had a good life, but not sure how much time we have left so just enjoying the time we have.

Lingering chest cold, limited day light (still), greater interest in skiing and timing of waves have all kept me out of the water. I don't have a true winter suite so if the water and/or air is under 40˚, I don't go.

Maybe tomorrow. TBD. Might go night skiing instead.

    Vaugh,
Stay out of water, with "lingering chest cold". I had the same, about 8 years ago, went surfing. three days later spiked a fever, and ended up with pneumonia and on a month of antibiotics. We are all morons on this bus......

Seems like winter hasn't arrived. Been working and saving up for another snowboarding trip come February. Looks like we'll get some fun ones this weekend so I'll hold off til then. I can't even wear my wetsuit yet but it's too cold for just a top, so there's that too...

There is still a swell here, but it looks like crap, so I will wait until later today, or perhaps, even tomorrow. I think I will use a longboard for a change--haven't been on one in a while. G&S, a Comp roundtail, 9'2.
