do these guys realize how stupid the names of these maneuvers are? a 'sushi roll', really? it's an alley-oop double grab if i'm not mistaken. so call it that. it's almost like how kids in skating call a varial double flip the "NIGHTMARE FLIP". like sure that trick looks like a nightmare because it's so ugly, but there's already a name for the damn trick.
mmm, sometimes...when they look like a natural part of the sequence (which can be most of the time). but in the beginning of the vid, those are exactly what i don't like, when i don't like them...when the wave is just treated as an air machine (when an air doesn't really fit because so many other things could have been executed). john john was pretty sweet and 3:53 has some aesthetically pleasing flow with some air...a lot of times though i prefer a bucket of kfc
