Anyone else in the New England area score yesterday? It was pretty good size short period wind swell but clean and fun. It was pretty heavy on the inside. If it were not for the freezing cold water temps, the getting stuck inside after a wave would not have been a problem, but the three duck dive ice cream headaches were nearly unbearable. I honestly thought I was either going to puke or pass out. But once I could get back outside and rest a second it was fine. My body was warm, but head was getting flushed with awful icy cold pain. I saw one kid/guy get taken out by a closeout that held him down for a good four or five seconds and I felt so bad for him. He came up screaming and the look on his face was priceless. I don't blame him, he got shmammered.
