My grandma frequently surfs on LBI, although, she has a stench of mothballs that is really unpleasant in the line up.

She uses this to her advantage and snakes everyone.

"What the f**k is that smell? Aw, shucks, it's gnarbutters grandma!"

On the bright side, she'll give you a fresh snicker doodle after your session.

Is this the same Jay Mann who used to give the LBI surf report at like 4:50 a.m. on the NOAA weather radio? I dont hear him do it much anymore, but he used to pretty much do it all summer long, and the Lewes Delaware station carried it because its pretty much just a re-broadcast of the Mt. Holly signal. I always figured only a surfer would bother being up at 4:50 all summer checking the waves.

 

I don't know, but he does a Fishing Column in the local LBI newspaper - The Sandpaper. He's pretty witty.

Mr. Sniffer, that Conor(one n) dude doesn't like anyone mentioning Mr. Townsend.
