i cant find the videos,i seen it on the asp site. check out jjf 10pt ride in round 3 heat 3.then watch mick fannings 9.43 in round 2 heat 1.i feel offended that ride wasn't a 12,when jj ride was a low 9 at best, thats why they show u one angle, the barrel always looks deeper when u look down the beach, but when the right angle comes out and u seen the only good part of his 10 was the drop behind the curtain and he got covered for 1.5 seconds and wasn't deep at all.micks wave oh my god,i don't even like mick but that wave was the best barrel iv seen all year u can see the vids here on the asp site discuss http://www.aspworldtour.com/events/2014/mct/719/moche-rip-curl-pro-portugal?roundId=4303
Damn I was just about to say Medina lost to Simpo. Glad the title is still up for grabs. BRING ON PIPE!!!
he just left with 2 minutes to go because he didn't get the score. this is why i'm not a fan of medina, he is such a sore loser.
ok, a 5.27 for kerr's last wave, but a 8.77 for pupo's?? i get the kerr wasn't that deep on his barrel, but it was a longer & cleaner wave, w/ a decent finish. pupo was deep, but it was short (& he couldn't have been that deep if he made it out). pupo might have deserved the high score, but i don't think they should have been THAT disparate. makes the brazzo pushing seem glaringly obvious, IMO.
He actually left with 2 minutes left because he thought he got the score. They announced his score when he was on the beach.
Brazzo pushing doesn't really make sense today... If the judges were pushing for Brazzo's Simpo would have never got the score.
Never thought I would say it but babe was underscored on his barrels. He should have won that heat. Can't complain about a Hawaiian finale tho.
