    Hey Roy,
Your boards are really neat in a folk art sense but does/can anyone ever get barrelled on one of those contraptions? Please give us some footage of some double black diamond surf, the bunny slope is woefully unimpressive. Pretty sure NZ has plenty of spots to really test your creations out. Get a qualified test pilot (stig) to go out and put the hammer down. Don't be afraid of failure, he might even come out of one. We desperately need the entertainment.

I must admit I was quiet intrigued by.....the orange wetsuit!!
You are an "unusual" person, Roy....very unusual. But that is a good thing...not a bad thing.
Keep on surfing. BTW, looked like a nice wave/location you were surfing at.

I'd like to borrow that board for one wave. Just to walk it. Then I'd give it back.

brah, he has had plenty of Grade A top human surfers pilot them

the kindest thing I heard from one is 'his board is challenging' and when I asked for more info, he clearly didnt want to talk ish so he ended with (the board) is 'more of a novelty'

Roy is a genius in one way, a colossal canoe in many other ways

Holy Smokes!! That thing looks like a bulldozer plowing through the line up! I cant believe it floats. Good for you. Looks like it only takes both feet to turn.

She's actually very easy to turn, but isn't for hacks obviously. with so much planing area and weight she extracts a lot of power and has a smooth momentum which does feel really good.

The tunnel gives some planing area in the tail without having to make the tail wider, which is the best of both worlds from my point of view. The result is more drive, without losing the single fin feel. Tunnels have neutral handling rail to rail so are easy to ride.

Hi Barry, that's our local wave machine, the well known point at Manu Bay , Raglan. It's a very consistent wave.

They are easy to ride, that's one of the primary features, so whoever it was didn't manage to get rid of their complicated skill set and just do it.

I have many great, independent ride reports, I've had only one pro and one ex pro ride a few waves on a 13 footer. Both riders were joined at the hip and their agenda was suspect, since I know how the boards ride I take little notice.
