Will Long Island get waves ever again?

I ride radiowaves all nite long....turn it up.

 

waves today around 9:00 am. Winds went offshore, fun waist to chest, you missed it while you were posting about there being no waves.

 

Well out on marthas vineyard we had chest to head high+ swell somehow after waiting about 3 weeks of torture

 

Winter is coming soon.

 

why wait for winter when there was a really fun wave all day yesterday!

 

I dawn patrolled it yesterday thigh-waist high mush It felt good just to get wet

 

That was a mistake. We had the same issue here in NC last weekend. SI was showing knee to thigh on Sunday with occ waist. Turned out to be stomach to chest on some and really fun. Never get so jaded you stop checking the actuall surf and just rely on forecasts on the web.
