Was comfy in a 4/3; broke out the boots for the first time today. You could go with less rubber for a quickie haha. 6+ hours of surfing today. Yeww

Looks small and choppy for Thanksgiving, but a nice clean medium size swell for Friday - Saturday with offshores, and still longboardable on Sunday.

I'll still go to the beach before dinner to work up an appetite, maybe do some paddling or bodysurfing if nothing else.

I think our thanksgiving swell here in NJ was yesterday, sunday...

I was told you are getting a swell, but only 22 ft, not 23 ft. Not worth suiting up for, I suppose.....

Yeah it was. The wind was no fun, but there were a few coming through if you were patient. I almost called it after 10 min, glad I didn't. T'was down your way in Kelly's playground hehe. Next year they will replace it with a wave pool.

Wednesday and Thursday look promising. Sunday was OK in NJ but the wind was crazy.

We had the wind also--45mph gusting higher, but.....zero waves. Well, there were a few ankle slappers but nothing worth suiting up for.

I think you are right and it was fun, but hella windy. I was out all day and able to do some sand recon. I found a great low tide sandbar around your way. While everywhere else was hardly pulsing, this spot seemed to have more size and hollowness. Fun day. Took a few beat downs, but got some pig dog practice in.

Looks like there’s a little fun bump coming on turkey day and then Fri. I’m not missing too much, but still... I’ll be in land locked MD for the holiday.

The spot I posted pictures from is an artificially formed sand bank due to a beach fill project and thanks to that we had a nice heaving wave breaking almost right on the beach. Every other place I checked that day sucked until the wind died down right before dark.

What part of MD ? Calling for waist/ maybe stomach high poopers on thanksgiving day here in OC. Who knows how it will turn out, Sunday morning was okay here but once 9 o’clock rolled around it was screwed.

Unless you knew where to look that the wind wasn't knocking it down. We scored head high barrels till 2pm.

No doubt about it. After eating all that great chow, desserts and beverages, there definitely will be a "Thanksgiving swell".
