Figured I'd start a tread that actually deals with the act of surfing with intent to do so. Enough of the kook treads going off like pinball machines.

Looks like we are getting chest and clean on Thursday here with waist to chest on Friday. Who's stoked? I have a very busy day Wednesday with biz engagements and other things to help friends with, otherwise I'd be jumping on the chop that'll be out there then.

Who else is stoked and planning on scoring?

Thursday & Friday DP are shaping up. Keeping an eye on it. Even Saturday may give a little bump.

Could be on the midlength on Sat. Haven't been able to score a good LB yet, and wonder if it's even worth it soon. Then again, not a bad thing to have at all times in the quiver.

You're starting to see the light, your surfing will take off once you tap into the magic of having a LB in the quiver, you could get away with an 8 footer if you wanted to limit the length and get similar results

I know you're busy with work, but have you ever considered building one?

I have been researching techniques with wood and once I get a new roof on my barn I plan to get started. Not much room on the farm otherwise.

As for this swell, I'm waiting for the wind to cooperate today and the rest of the week looks like a crapshoot. We shall see

I have plans for DP before work on Thursday and Friday if I can drag my tail out of bed early enough. Work schedule has been kicking my butt lately... I need to win the bleepin lottery or something so that I can cut back on my work hours, but I hear you have to buy those stinkin tickets for that to not happen.

Fingers crossed for a DP on Friday. I'll see how the buoys and cams look for Thursday to decide if it's worth it. Like Ryan McCall said, still a crapshoot at this point.

Bailing work at lunch tomorrow. I don't even care if it's onshore by the time I get to it.
