Duck diving isn't too handy on a 9'8" or a full-figured single-fin egg, so it's not really an option for me. That said, wintertime turtle rolling sucks, sure, but I don't really mind getting my face wet in the winter since my beard covers most of it. Mantra: Paddle smarter, not harder.
