but to the guys ripping their boots - wear a pair of socks. Easier in and out AND warmer.
also easier / less mess during the post surf change

Anyone try out the new Xcel X hooded? Looks sick. Between this or flashbomb zipfree hooded. Had the original zip free elasto and was an awesome suit.

I had a friend who always did the same thing before we would paddle out. We would be walking through the parking lot and out of nowhere he would start leaving wet foot prints LOL

 

I don't where socks under booties but will put a pair on to slip my wetsuite on easier. I don't wear board shorts under my suite but I do where some compression shortes under it to prevent the dreaded ball suck. It also makes it easier to disrobe in front of people without giving them a free show. Plus chicks dig it...

 

What kind of swimfins do you use that will fit over all that gear without cramping the hell out of your feet?

Yes. Definitely need these. I have used billabongs, but there are lots of similar products. Use them under wetsuite and also under boardies when I trunk it.

That is an American hang-up. I spent 8 years on swimming teams (jr high school and high school), Speedos are "de-rigeur". And I love chicks in tongs........
