Winter gloves!!

  1. Okay so I have been able to survive with 5mm lobster claw gloves up until this week. Today was a rough day, I was out for only 30 mins before I felt like I was holding ice cubes, had to cut the day short.

Does anyone know if there are gloves you can put on under your gloves to keep your hands warmer? Also the gloves never seem to want to stay beneath my wetsuit, so the water creeps in there as well. My hands are extremely susceptible to cold, so any advice would be great :D

XCEL has the Infiniti 7mm mitt. XCEL makes great cold water stuff, IMHO.

I think that you can also get glove liners from dive shops.

I have the same issue with my feet. In the really deep winter, I wear 3mm socks under 7mm boots, and my feet still get cold.

Is your wetsuit long enough in the sleeve? The sleeve should amply cover the glove, and be very snug, no matter how much you move around. I buy men's wetsuits, because women's wetsuits are always too short in the arms and legs for me, like we are all 5'0 tall and 110 pounds. LOL.

Check your seams also. Your glue might be cracked and your seams opening.
