I won't! Will have the entire weekend in sub-freezing temps and powder then back to spring suit offshores and clean lines for the week. I love it!
Okay so temps are gonna stay below freezing for 3 days straight. I'm building a ramp, but the amount of natural snow will be at most 3". Needless to say I'll need more. I own a pressure washer, and can rent an air compressor. Has anyone ever attempted creating their own snow? I will reward thee with an invitation to the sesh for info.
Was genuinely interested in whether this would work and it looks like there guys (www.snsnowmaking.com) have a tutorial. Looks like you'll need to rent an air compressor and fit up some pipes/valves together but it's doable. Good luck and post pictures if you get it going!
Alright so I have a super super narrow pressure washer nozzle that mists the air. I'm gonna go straight ghetto with this and save the money by just sticking the power washer nozzle 20 feet in the air. Temps will be the single digits so I'm either gonna get snow or a sh!t ton of ice in the yard but it's worth a try.
Good luck johnny. Looks like i may be getting some waves this weekend. Hopefully the forecast holds up.
Sort of enjoy walking across the snow to get to the water. Looks like we'll be getting that opportunity soon enough.
very curious of who all is going out during this whole cold front sweeping up the East Coast this wknd. I saw the temps last week and was trying to scurry down the coast to avoid 40 deg hi (which sux in Charleston SC), but the forecast(especially the winds) are wack all the way down. I just picked up a ton of vids and nugg to prop down at the house. Not looking forward to this sht at all
Me too. Surfing if the waves cooperate. Probably mountain biking tomorrow. Anything above single-digit highs isn't even cold...
Me also. Tomorrow looks like waist high with offshore wind or close to it, possibly on the slightly heavy side depending if i trust SI or weather app. Weather app is usually more accurate and it's showing offshore around 10-15 so I'm hoping for that. Sunday looks the same but in the chest high range. Low tide both mornings, upper teens both mornings. And looking like snow tomorrow morning. Not worried about the weather or cold, a little worried about conditions. Could be really fun both days. Could be pretty blah both days. Could be good one day and not the other. All i know for sure is there is a possibility for both days. Got the mini sims and the 5'8 all packed up. So I'm prepared for a wide range of conditions. Going to be waking up early, checking first spot at first light. If there is somthing to surf I'm on it, if not I'll start checking other spots based off what i see. If really love to get two solid seshs in this weekend so i got my fingers crossed.
