    Don't know where you live but if paulownia is hard to find and you don't want to pay through the nose, look for catalpa. Very similar wood in grain, weight, and rot resistance. Might be worth taking a look around for some.

    Yes, I'm the whiner here. Asking about building a surfboard and then watching you post your typical crybaby BS about the mods and trolls and unfair and not how it used to beeeeeeeee.

    Anyways, thanks everyone else for the info. About, you know, surfboards.
