Winter Surfing?

    that's a great idea guys!!! WOW!!! why didn't I think of that, we could fly a banner from the back of our spaceship while exploring for atmosphere waves, a new frontier! I heard there is a good place to launch the spaceship that is near one of the best breaks in the world, Belmar, NJ!

    Yo PJB!!!!!! yea we are all ok over here! That's swell the other day was something else! nice bomb sets... I only got a few but worth every second! Actusally just about to paddle out at the best break in the world, Belmar,NJ... its always head high and 50 degrees... you want to go too??

    I was out for an hour just before evening yesterday off VB in my 4/3. Water temp was 48 or so, but air temp dropped from 46 to 38 during that time (based on car thermometer). I was starting to feel cold by the end of the session. It was the air temp that did it.
    The 4/3 got me through last winter, but the coldest I went out then was water 42, air 43. Good boots, gloves, and a hood certainly help. One's age doesn't, however. At 58, one seems to be more sensitive to cold. Must be a slowing metabolism or other signs of decrepitude. Keep hearing Neil Young's "Old Man" playing in my head. Onset of senility, perhaps.

    Just move to Belmar, Water is always 50 degrees
